WOW What a night!
I was worried no one would come------boy was I wrong! There were over 50 people there all with smiles on. Some folks I haven't seen in years. What a treat.
All my hard work did pay off and we were able to raise enough $ to get C-Space up and running again. Buy those chairs, rent the space and pay the presenter.
I could not have done it without the help of my volunteers. Lady Lydia, who has stolen my heart in all she has done for me over the last 9 months, you Rock! Rossi, you're smile always helps me and your wiliness to help is so appreciated. Donna Larson, who is an old c-space member also was great. I had the pleasure of having Tamara, The Trapeeze Lady, perform a lovely dance for us and Shu Shu belted out my fav--"Everybody's Fucking but Me" as it use to be my theme song for years.
Those who got up and spoke,broke the Number One Rule, not to talk about me, but we sure had some good laughs as people told their stories.I only wish I had set aside more time for us to visit each other. I sure hope those who came up from Portland had a safe ride home.
I can't tell you how touched I was by so many people coming out on such an icky night and to still support the concept of C-Space and me in my endeavor to bring more education to the Seattle area,to try and keep some of the "old school" going in our community.
I will post the January presenters and her information etc soon. Be assured you do not want to miss this workshop. Febuary is going to be awesome so come back here often!
